These terms apply to GoSolar Inc.’s Solar Care Plan subscription service. By subscribing, you agree to the following.
The Solar Care Plan is a 12-month subscription, billed monthly. Continued enrollment after the initial 12-month term will continue on a month-to-month basis unless canceled. To cancel, contact us at info@gosolarteam.com or (847) 881-3919. We require at least 30 days written notice to process a cancellation.
Your plan includes one annual on-site visit covering panel cleaning, a critter guard inspection, and a visual system check, along with priority scheduling for any additional service needs. If you provide us access to your system’s monitoring portal, we’ll also include year-round remote production monitoring, helping us catch issues like inverter faults or production drops early.
Pricing is based on your system’s size and complexity, including panel count, number of arrays, and roof characteristics. Systems that qualify for our standard $29/month plan are confirmed at signup based on the information you provide. If your system’s actual size or complexity differs from what was reported, we will let you know and may adjust your plan tier going forward. Any such adjustment applies to future billing only, never retroactively.
The Solar Care Plan covers routine cleaning, inspection, and monitoring only. If we identify an issue during your visit or, where we have portal access, through remote monitoring, such as roof damage, wiring issues, or hardware problems, we will document it and provide a separate quote. Repair work is not included in your subscription price and requires your separate approval before any work begins.
As an active Solar Care Plan member, you’re eligible for discounts on repair work and new projects (such as EV charger installs, battery storage, and panel upgrades). Discount eligibility requires an active subscription at the time the work is performed and quoted. Specific discount terms are applied to your project quote at the time of service.
You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us. If you cancel before completing the initial 12-month term, please note that your annual visit may not yet have occurred depending on timing, contact us with any questions about your specific situation.
If your annual on-site visit has already been performed and you cancel before the end of your 12-month term, the remaining monthly payments for the balance of the term become due at the time of cancellation. For example, if your visit was completed in month 2 and you cancel in month 3, the remaining 9 months ($261.00) would be due upon cancellation. We will invoice you for any outstanding balance, which is payable within 30 days. If your annual visit has not yet been performed at the time of cancellation, no early termination fee applies and your subscription will end at the close of the current billing period following your 30-day notice.
